BBR Partners Starts 2011 Client Speaker Series with Middle East Discussion

BBR Partners, a New York-based multi-family office, is expanding its client programming by holding the first event in its 2011 Client Speaker Series. Formatted as a breakfast presentation and conference call, Matthew Waxman, an expert in national security and international law, will lead a discussion on the current instability in the Middle East and North Africa. Mr. Waxman is currently an Associate Professor of Law at Columbia University, and he previously served in the executive branch as a policy advisor to the then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. He subsequently ran the Policy Planning Staff at the State Department, reporting directly to Ms. Rice as the Secretary of State.

BBR’s clients will have an opportunity to attend breakfast, as well as participate in the discussion, or call in remotely to hear the presentation. The conversation cover topics ranging from the Arab Spring, President Obama’s speech regarding the U.S. policy towards the Middle East and the killing of Osama bin Laden. This event, as well as the broader series, is part of the programming offered by BBR Partners every year, available only to the firm’s clients.
